Robert Coram has been visiting Antigua since 1982, when, as a newspaper reporter, he broke the story that Robert Vesco had found sanctuary on the island. Because of the many times he has revisited the island since then, and because of his exhaustive research and wide-ranging contacts, the State Department once told him, “You are the institutional memory of Antigua.
